Leave Household Hazardous Waste at Home

Trash dumpsters are located throughout the Berkeley Lab site to collect solid waste (i.e., trash or refuse) generated at the Lab, not for wastes brought from home.  Recently a jug of motor oil (with no cap) was left at Bldg 79.  Please do not bring paint, batteries, appliances or other household hazardous waste from home and leave it at the Lab.  Your county sanitation district has a household hazardous waste collection point that will accept these items for free.
